I have always believed that life is meant to feel good.
Not perfect. Not effortless. But genuinely, deeply good and done from a place of love. That belief has guided everything I have done as a teacher, a mother, a business builder, an artist, and a coach. And it is the heartbeat of everything I share with the people I work with.
My philosophy is simple: when you learn to align your energy with what you truly desire, your business and your life start to flow in a way that feels like ease and grace rather than struggle and strain. That is not a metaphor. It is a practice. And I have spent decades learning it, living it, and teaching it.
BACKGROUND
A Life Built on Teaching and Empowerment
I grew up knowing I wanted to help people. After earning my B.A. and M.A. in Education from the University of California Santa Barbara, I spent years as a public school teacher, library adult literacy coordinator, college teacher, and faculty trainer for the Ventura County Office of Education. In every role, my deepest joy came from watching someone discover what they were truly capable of.
In the late 1980s, my husband Jim and I started a family, and I stepped away from the classroom to be fully present at home with our children, Jonathan and Robyn. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.
In 1994, with my children back in school, I began looking for a business opportunity that matched my values and that I could do from home. I wanted something that would let me keep putting family first, build real financial security, and continue doing work that mattered. That search led me to LegalShield, and it changed everything.
LEGALSHIELD
27 Years of Building Something Real
LegalShield gave me the vehicle. My ease and grace philosophy gave me the fuel. Together, they have built a business that has funded my children's education, taken care of my mother during her last years, and retired my husband early. It has allowed me to support causes I believe in, and given me the time and flexibility to pursue every creative passion that lights me up. I am an award-winning Millionaire Club Member and an executive director with the company, and I still love what I do.
But more than any title or achievement, what I am most proud of is the community I have built. The women and men on my team are not just associates. They are people I have walked alongside, coached, cheered for, learned from and we have become an extended family.
THE BOOK
Why I Wrote My Book
In 2014, I realized I needed to read a book that did not exist yet. I needed a guide that would help network marketers discover not just the tactics of the business, but how to raise your emotional frequency to feel good, stay aligned, and grow with joy.
So I wrote it. "Network Marketing with Ease and Grace: A Self-Coaching Guide to Creating More Joy in Your Business" was born from everything I had learned in two decades of building a business and a life I loved. The second edition is out now, with a new introduction and updated insights for today's world.
CREATIVE WORK
Art, Nature, and the Practice of Visioning
Alongside my business, I have always pursued creativity as a spiritual practice. As a Certified Creatively Fit Coach and Certified Cosmic Smashbooking Facilitator, I lead workshops and gatherings that use intuitive art, nature, and vision work to help people reconnect with what they most deeply desire.
My retreats at Camp Chaconas in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and at my Somis, California artisan home, have brought together hundreds of women for experiences that go well beyond business. They are about remembering who you are.
